Yes, McDonald's has arrived in Sicily, in NorthWestern Sicily precisely. There is one in Palermo, Trapani and Castelvetrano. It opened amidst a bit of controversy ... many people were angry, others were happy... but after many years things have calmed down and you find many Sicilians, and tourists at the various McDonald's.
