How to start
a blog and become rich. Well ....maybe.
To become a
successful blogger and make lots of money is everybody’s dream. Just take a
look at blogger and wordpress, you will find millions of bloggers. You’d think
the whole world is blogging! It might just be.
Search
“food” and you’ll find that everyone is a cook; search “fashion” and you see
thousands of fashion models or fashion experts; search “beauty” and endless
beauty experts show up. Just look up your favorite interest and you’ll find
people blogging about it. Some people are doing it as a hobby but most people
are either earning from their blog or hoping to earn from their blog. Business
companies definitely earn, in fact their hire SEO agencies or SEO consultants
to run their blog so that they get more traffic, hoping to convert that traffic
into lead. Blogging for marketing is a very common and popular practice these
days.
If you don’t
have a blog, it’s something extraordinary. Either you think you have nothing to
blog about or you think starting a blog is technically challenging. Not at all.
You don’t need to be a web genius to start a blog.
The simplest way is to go to blogger and follow the instructions. Make sure you choose a name which is appropriate to the subject which you will be blogging about. Although it doesn’t necessarily have to be related (look at the BlondeSalad, her blog is not exactly about salads).
If you are undecided about your blogging subject, just use a name that will cover anything. Like your name or your cat’s name.

Once you’re
finished with the technical side of creating your blog, you can start posting.
The first post can be a simple introduction (who you are, what you like to do,
what your blog is about etc.). Preferably accompanied by pictures. Visual posts
are more likely to be popular and shared than plain written posts. An ideal
post is a combination of the two.
You
published your post but no one saw it. No likes, no comments, no shares. It’s
very disappointing but don’t give up. Everyone goes through it. You don’t get
rich quick by blogging. You need to work at it.
By the way, when you opened your blog, I hope you applied for Adsense. This is the way to make money through a blog. The more visitors you have and the more people click on the ads on your blog, the more money you make. Don’t expect overnight success. You need to start networking with other bloggers; advertising your blog on Twitter and other social networks; telling your friends and colleagues that you have a blog. It’s a lot of effort but if you stick to it, it’s well worth the hard work.

One very
important thing to take into consideration when you write a post, is to make
sure what you’re saying is useful and important. Don’t just write that you got
up, had a coffee and went to the supermarket. Nobody is interested in a boring
routine. If you want to attract visitors and get them to come back then write
awesome, attention grabbing content.
So...start blogging!
